Who is CBR:

Based out of Alberta, the CBR team has creative energy that has had far-reaching effects. With daily emails inquiries from around the globe, CBR is always learning and sharing new ideas and practices with others. CBR has traveled to work with groups in Fredericton, New Brunswick, West Hartford Connecticut, Stratford Prince Edward Island, Halifax Nova Scotia, Chicago Illinois, Yellowknife North West Territories, Kansas City Missouri and Kansas and many communities throughout Canada and Alberta.

CBR is effective in assisting communities as they create environments where mutually beneficial relationships develop and grow. Whatever the thread that brings people together, we can assist in building on common strengths. We enjoy our work in rural and urban settings with health, neighbourhood groups, children and youth, small businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and corporations. We guide communities in:

Forming the strong relationships and friendships which build vibrant, self reliant, healthy communities.
Creating a picture of, and a path toward, the future.
Finding and potentiating supportive community-based and community managed infrastructures.

CBR provides support through various workshops, a broad range of facilitation and coaching resources, and through comprehensive follow-up and evaluation. Our work always includes the asset focus encouraging everyone to build a foundation of relationships and friendships that are key to discovering, connecting, and mobilizing local resources. We continue strong communication with all participants and assist them in any way we can as they continue to promote the sustainable growth and development of their community.
